Newborn Baby Photographer

Capturing the early days of your newborn baby are particularly special.  They change so quickly and this time can simply disappear in a sleepy blur.

Newborn baby photo shoots take place in the comfort of your own home where you have everything that you need for your baby.  We take the session at the pace of your newborn baby, feeding or changing as needed.  A photo shoot will take about two hours and is very relaxed.  During this time we can capture a variety of photos, including either more natural photos or images with a variety of props that I can bring with me.

Newborn sessions are ideally done within the first two weeks.  This is when babies tend to be more sleepy and still curl up into that tiny ball-shape.  As the diary can be very busy, we recommend that you book around three months before your baby's due date to ensure that we can get the session done within this limited time frame.  For a variety of reasons it is sometimes necessary to do the photo shoot after this time, that does not mean that we cannot get those adorable newborn shots, but babies start to be less sleepy and more aware of what is going on around them.
