Family & Baby Photography Session - Ealing

I was contacted by Rana, who was planning a baby and family photography session as a present for the grandparents wedding anniversary. The grandparents, Rana's sister, her husband and four month old baby all gathered together at her home in Ealing. She wanted to get a mix of both natural and more formal family photographs from the session.

As the adults were getting themselves all nicely preened for the photos whilst we started the photo shoot with their little four month old boy, Raj. He was full of smiles as we sat him on the sofa and a comfy armchair in the sitting room - such a cutie!

The weather forecast was not looking great, so we took the opportunity whilst the sun peeked out from the lead grey clouds to grab some photos in the lush, green garden. We got a variety of fun photos as the family played with Raj.

With all the entertainment, Raj was beginning to get tired, so Rana went upstairs to settle him for a little sleep. We took this moment to have a bite to eat and once Raj was settled (in his mummy's arms), we got some photos of him sleeping and a few close up details of his little hands.

He only had a short little snooze and whilst lay on his parents bed, we got some photos of Raj with his parents (including the photo at the top of the blog post). Rana was also keen to get a photo of their feet - Raj's feet were flying around most of the time, but we managed to get a couple of shots!

As part of the wedding anniversary gift we also come some more formal portrait photos of both of Rana's parents, which we did in the sitting room.

We then headed up to the nursery to get some natural photos of Raj playing with his grand parents and auntie. It is always lovely getting photos of young children being read to - they so often engage beautifully with a book.
