First Birthday - Photographer, North Harrow

I had done a baby photography session for little Raj last summer, so it was exciting to be asked to come and photograph his first birthday. Friends and relatives came from all over the world to celebrate this landmark - from India, Uganda and, oh yes, Northampton!

The first part of the session was spent doing more formal photographs of the family in the grandparents garden at their home in North Harrow. Everyone was excited to hold little Raj and was ready with smiles and cuddles.

We then got a range of documentary-style photos of everyone as they enjoyed Raj's big day.

Lunch and time for cake - number 1!

Raj had a little sleep. When he woke up we had organised for a cake smash (see the photos at the top of this blog post).

Followed by the opening of a few presents before the party and the session were over.
