Newborn Baby Photography Session - Tooting Bec

I came to this lovely family's home in Tooting Bec a couple of weeks after their little newborn baby boy, Henry, had been born. When I arrived at their house all was very calm and Henry had been asleep for some time.

I started by simply capturing him soundly on the blanket he was sleeping on when I arrived.

He was given a feed before we started getting a variety of natural photos of Henry with both of his parents on the fresh, white bed (including the photo at the top of this blog post).

We tried to then settle Henry on the white bedsheets by himself, but his tummy was a little upset and so he preferred lots of cuddles.

As it was a few weeks before Christmas, we put him in a festive hat and placed him in a basket, but he did not settle easily without the comfort of one of his parents cuddles.

We then set up for various photos against a plain black background.

A few photos in the nursery and it was the end of the session.
