London Family Photography Shoots - Central London
Baby Revi's mother contacted me from India a few weeks before they were due to come over to London for a few days to celebrate his first birthday. She booked in for two photography sessions, the first to cover a few photos around Trafalgar Square as well as some pictures of Revi with a variety of props to celebrate his first birthday, including not only the photo below, but also a cake smash.
The second photography session was to be covering a few of the main tourist attractions in central London.
We met at the hotel where the family were staying, just off Trafalgar Square, and headed straight for St James' park and around Buckingham Palace. Revi was happy playing amongst the leaves that were just beginning to fall as we approached the end of summer.
However, sometimes a one year is never happier than chasing pigeons!
We got such a lovely range of photographs as we travelled around London's tourist highlights. Yes, of course we had the classic red telephone box shots as we made our way from St James' Park to Westminster. We then skipped through the crowds to the other side of Westminster Bridge to avoid most of the tourists to get a view over the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. Here we captured the photo at the top of this blog post with Revi in his very old school British outfit, as well as one of my favourite photos (below) of him tipping his hat (yep, like most one year olds, he wasn't too keen on wearing the cap, so it was very much a case of snap that photo quick before he removes it!).
