Baby & Family Photography Shoot - Tuffnell Park & Waterlow Park
This photography session was the second part of the 'Capturing The First Two Years' package. The first session with young Thalia I did back in January earlier this year when she was 10 weeks old. It is always so lovely to see children grow. I love to see how they have changed and watch them as they start to explore the world around them.
Thalia is now walking around with the supporting hands of her parents and growing into a delightful, happy little girl.
When I arrived at their family home we kitted ourselves up straight away to make the most of the beautiful autumnal morning and headed out to one of their favourite, nearby parks. It is always fun in my job as a family photographer, being introduced to new, different parks I have never heard of and on this day, the family took me to Waterlow Park. This is a stunning park in the South East of Highgate Village. It has lovely views over London and on this sunny, September morning there was a wonderful array of colour as the leaves were beginning to turn.
Making the most of the sunlight coming through the autum leaves we got to work quickly with some family photos and some photos of Thalia with each of her parents in turn.
We then made our way down to a pretty little bridge (see the photo at the top of this blog post), before heading to a little playground where Thalia had lots of fun on the swings and the slide.
We then gradually made our way back up the hill, with time to play hide and seek among the trees.
There is a pretty walled garden in Waterlow Park, where Thalia enjoyed smelling the flowers and clambering up and down the steps.
Having had a lovely time at the park we then made our way back to the family home, where Thalia was able to show off some of her favourite outfits and play with her toys.
It was a really lovely, relaxed family photography shoot. I can't wait to see Thalia for the next one when she will be running around as a toddler.
