Family Photo Shoot - Wimbledon Common & Southfields

I met this lovely family for a photo shoot on Wimbledon Common on a late autumn day. The father, Robert, had bought the session as a birthday present for his wife and wanted to get some natural photos of their family having fun.

The 21 month old boy was a little shy to start, as many children are with a stranger, but it didn't take long before we were playing hide and seek among the oak tree branches.

He was a great little character and a child that very much knew his own mind as he led us off to places we had never been on Wimbledon Common. We had fun climbing up the hill, exploring pathways, clambering over monuments and fallen trees and obviously plenty of splashing and dipping fingers in muddy puddles.

Having had plenty of fun outside we headed back to their family home in Southfields, where we had read stories, played with toys, tumbled around on a big bed and obviously, in today's modern world, played on the iPad.

Such a lovely, fun family photo shoot with a delightful toddler.
