Newborn Baby Photo Shoot - Raynes Park, Wimbledon

This gorgeous little girl, like many of 'my' December babies came early. What a little beauty she is. Her mother, Maria, contacted me well before her due date in mid December. Just as I was picking my daughter up from nursery, she rang me to say that her waters had broken and she was likely to be induced the next day. Sofia was born a couple of days later.

I arrived at their family home in Raynes Park, Wimbledon and Sofia was very sleepy. Maria had wanted some photos of her baby daughter on a soft blanket and we chose a lovely deep purple blanket that her dark hair and skin could pull off.

Sofia then woke up as she wanted a feed. After a little milk and a few cuddles she settled down easily in her mother's arms.

Before we placed her back onto the blanket and got the photo that is at the top of this blog post with a very cute little bonnet hat.

Keen to get some Christmas photos of their baby daughter we then set up by the Christmas tree in the kitchen.

We then got a few sleeping baby shots of Sofia on a beautiful, girly, rosebud background.

Getting some close up details of little feet too...

And finally, Maria had wanted some photos of her baby girl against a plain, black background.
