Baby & Family Photo Shoot - Balham

Jon had booked a baby and family photography session as part of a birthday present for his wife. Their little son was 3 months old.

It was a beautiful, sunny, winter's day when I arrived at their family home in Balham. We all wrapped up and headed straight out onto Tooting Common to make the most of the morning sunshine.

There were still oak leaves lying on the ground and a few branches had kept their colourful foliage to make a lovely background of dappled light to some of the photos (including the photo at the top of this blog post).

Oscar was then beginning to feel a little tired and hungry, so before we headed back to their family home we grabbed a quick few photos of the family on a log.

Whilst Oscar was being fed I took the opportunity to photograph the family cats that were lying around.

We then went up to the bedroom at the top of the house where the light was good to get some family photos.

As well as some of just Oscar - such a cute baby.

He was dressed into a little Christmas outfit that his mummy had bought for him. I'm not so sure he approved of his outfit, but we managed to get a couple of photos of him by the Christmas tree with its twinkling lights in the background.
