Maternity Photo Shoot - Stratford

Anamaria contacted me with some clear ideas about some of the photos that she wanted from her pregnancy photography session. She had seen some beautiful pre and post baby photos of a mother-to-be wearing angel wings... the post baby photo also included the sweet newborn baby wearing angel wings too.

When I arrived at their home in Stratford, East London, we set up straight away for the angel wings pre-baby photo. Ernesto (her husband) and I moved the furniture around to enable me to set up a wood panel background. Anamaria then got herself ready for the shot and we then helped her get her giant wings on. This beautiful, dark, Venezuelan looked stunning in the photo.

It would have been a shame to not make the most of the beautiful angel wings, so we got a variety of photos of Anamaria with them.

We then moved onto some photos of both Anamaria and Ernesto against plain black background. They had a fabulous bouquet of flowers - perfect props to any bump photo shoot.

We then did a few set ups in their bedroom (including the photo at the top of this blog post).

It was then time to get some outside photos. They lived close by the Olympic Park, so we wandered over to the grounds... obviously just as the (unforecasted) rain decided to dampen the scene, but not our spirits. The photos looked just like spring, with daffodils, leafy, verdant bushes and flowers decorating Anamaria's hair.

We then headed back to their home for a few last photos in the nursery and with a picture of the Madonna that was a special, personal item to Anamaria.
