1st Birthday Photography Shoot

It was Emelia's first birthday when I came to do the photography shoot for this adorable little cutie. The session had been bought as a gift by her grandmother for the parents.

During the session we planned to get some studio style portrait photographs at their family home first of all and then go out in their local neighbourhood of Surrey Quays for some more natural style photos.

I set up an off-white background in their kitchen to get a range of family photos as well as some of Emelia by herself, including some birthday ones - she had already opened up all of her presents, so a quick re-wrap of a pressie was done... well, it's all about paper and boxes at this stage isn't it really?!

Emelia's father needed a corporate headshot done for his work, so we quickly got this done whilst the background was still up and Emelia was being changed to go outside.

We then jumped in the car to get to the Thames riverside, with views over Tower Bridge and over to Southwark Park where the grass was long and we could have fun with the bubble machine on the grass.
