Cake Smash & First Birthday Photo Shoot - Mitcham

I first photographed this little girl when she was five weeks old. Her mother was keen to celebrate her first birthday with a cake smash photo shoot.

Having discussed beforehand the style for the cake smash, we went for classic, girly pinks. The giant cupcake was cream and pink, decorated with butterflies and supplied by Cake Junkies.

We had lots more fun with more photos to celebrate this milestone, including splash photos in a bath tub, balloons, together with wooden "ONE" letters and also some with her daddy's precious Indian drum - the dhol.

To finish off, we headed to nearby Mitcham Common for a few outdoor photos, including some family photos in the September sunshine.
