Maternity Photographer - Camden

I came to the home of this expectant mother in Camden. She had wanted to get some 'posed' maternity photos at this exciting time in her life. When we were planning the session, she was very worried that her flat would be too small and that the blue tinted windows would be a problem - but with a few checks on measurements and I was less worried about the light (I bring my own lighting and sometimes use an Expodisc White Balance Filter to help with such issues, we did the photo shoot at her home. With no problems at all.

We started by putting up some sheer fabric across the balcony windows to use a background. She was dressed in a sheer, pink maternity dress. We also did some silhouette photos and also some with a dark length of fabric.

We then changed to a black background, keeping the strong maroon fabric.

Keeping the black background, we then did some simple photographs, capturing the bump.

The last bit of the photo shoot, we focussed on more relaxed, natural photos with this lady in some of her own clothes.
