Newborn Baby & Family Photographer - Brook Green

Big brother feeding newborn baby

It was great to see this lovely family again. I had photographed their first born son three years ago when he was a newborn baby and now he had just become a big brother. I came to their new family home in Brook Green and we started with a few natural photos of the children.

We then got some photos of the newborn baby lying on a chunky, wool blanket, where he even smiled for us! They were keen to get a photo of the baby in froggy pose - which had worked beautifully for his older brother. This little baby was less keen on the position, but we did eventually (later on during the session) get the shot. Although, being somewhat sensitive to being moved around, we didn't quite get the chance to perfect the position of his arms. Please note that the froggy pose does not suit all babies and must only be undertaken by an experienced professional - the final shot should be a composite, to ensure that the baby's head and neck is always supported safely throughout (although you do not see the supporting hand in the final shot).

On the previous photo shoot we had taken some photos against a black background which worked really well - particularly when big brother decided to come and help feed the baby. Too cute!

We then placed this gorgeous baby in a basket.

We then took some family photos in a bedroom and one boy was very proud of his new baby brother.
