Maternity Photographer - Balham & The Rookery, Streatham Common

We started this maternity photo shoot with a studio style set up, focussing predominantly on this beautiful mum-to-be. We used a variety of different outfits against a white, and then a black background.

Her husband then arrived (from work) and we headed off to nearby Streatham Common where the winter light was stunning. As we worked our way through the woods, the sun was coming through the trees and made for some beautiful backgrounds.

We then made our way to the more formal gardens of The Rookery - always a favourite spot for photo shoots. These gardens are well kept and even in the middle of winter, they make a wonderful location. The light gave a magical glow to many of the images.
