Newborn Baby & Family Photographer - Clapham

It was great to come back and photograph this family at their home in Clapham. It was a couple of years ago when I had taken the newborn photos of one of their children and now a new baby brother had arrived. With three boys this was definitely a high energy session! But the two big brothers were very well behaved with the newborn baby.

We started the session with just the two older children before bringing the newborn baby in and capturing images of the three of them. The photos came out beautifully with the boys just behaving very naturally with the new member of the family. The eldest son was so much in love with the baby and handled him so gently.

We then focussed on getting some family photos. With a lively toddler around, you don't have a huge amount of time to get the photos with them, so these shots need to be done as quickly as you can. There was a real sense of fun and energy with the whole family.

Having got the family photos done we concentrated on getting some newborn baby photos taken, starting with this very chilled out baby in a basket.

We then lay him on a bed in the hope that he would fall asleep... but no, he was definitely awake. We still got some beautiful photos of him and were then able to bring mummy and daddy in too.
