Family Photographer - Battersea Power Station & The Rookery, Streatham Common

This lovely, young family had been living in Battersea, London for a few years and were shortly to be moving back to Europe. They wanted to organise a family photo shoot before they left.

They had two children, a daughter of two and a half years and a six month old boy. They certainly wanted to get some photos by Battersea Power Station, the backdrop to their London life. So we met here on this bright, summer day capturing some photos with this iconic landmark in the background. There were also some unusual features around here to make for some unusual and fun family photos.

We then jumped into a car and headed over to The Rookery on Streatham Common, where the gardens are beautiful and ideal for children to explore, making for a great location for family photo shoots. The flowers were looking stunning and there are trees for children to clamber around with lots of leaves and sticks for a baby to play with.
