Newborn Baby Photographer - Holloway

I had been called by a friend that I used to work with years ago - he was to become a grandfather and wanted to buy a newborn photo shoot as a gift for his son and daughter-in-law.

This little boy arrived quite early and had to spend a little while in hospital and he was about three weeks old when I came to photograph him. Daddy had sadly gone back to work and although we mostly focussed on this newborn baby boy, we also captured some photos with mummy too.

We began with him in a basket, where he snuggled in and fell asleep (see above).

We then used a black backdrop to create some dramatic black and white images.

We needed some settling on a blanket, where we got some beautiful, natural photos of this baby. He even gave us a little smile - too adorable!

We ended with some photos of him on mummy's lap.
