Baby & Family Photographer - Balham

I had been recommended to this family by another client that I had recently done a shoot for. Their baby girl was about a month old by the time we managed to arrange a session. As can be the way with babies around this age, she was a little unsettled (babies from three to six weeks are starting to be more aware of things going on around them and being moved around can unsettle them), however, this doesn't mean that we don't get any photos, this is definitely the time for cuddles and these moments are beautiful to photograph. It is one of the joys of my job as a Photographer that I get to capture love.

Having started in the sitting room, we moved to a bedroom, where we just captured the family comforting and playing with this baby girl. I just love the photograph below - how natural this seems and just watching how daddy is stroking the baby's feet as mummy holds her. You can see the happiness in the parents faces, it just makes me smile.

She didn't settle for very long, but we managed to get some photos and close up details of her.

We finished with some family photos using a white wall as a background.
