Cake and Presents for First Birthday Photo Shoot - Tooting

I first photographed this little girl when she was seven months old. This was now her first birthday and her parents and grandparents were there to celebrate.

When I first arrived at their family home in Tooting, we captured some natural photos of her with her presents and toys. She played happily and chatted away with pleasure.

We got a few family portraits taken.

It was then time to get the cake out. Initially they just wanted to have some photos of the cutting of the cake as they weren't convinced that their baby girl would be into doing a cake smash. We started with some photos of the birthday girl with mummy and daddy and the cake. She was started to get very tired, but we then thought we would get some cake smash style photos (I had brought a background with me and some flowers to decorate) and this little girl got a second wind and absolutely loved it!
