Newborn Baby & Family Photo Shoot At Home - Balham

It was just lovely to be back to photograph this family. I had photographed their daughter when she was born three years ago. She now had a newborn baby brother and was totally smitten!

We began with some 'natural' photos of the siblings and the family in a bedroom.

We then spent some time focussing on more posed photos of this newborn baby boy. Some simply on a black background (I just love the one at the top of this blog post with the baby held by the hands of the family - the smile on his face is just magic!). I then added a sling which worked very well.

We then created some images using digital backgrounds that were edited in after the photo shoot.

This was also a good opportunity to get some close up details.

We finished with a few family portraits against a plain wall.
